If budget is a primary concern and you need a laptop for basic tasks like browsing the web, using office applications, and streaming videos, the ASUS R410MA is a cost-effective choice. However, if you plan on doing more demanding activities such as gaming, 3D modeling, or video editing, the MSI Thin GF63 offers better performance suited for those needs—but it comes at a higher price. The MSI also tends to have a superior build quality and possibly better display. It's worth considering battery life and weight too; the ASUS is likely more portable and may have longer battery life, making it suitable for those who are on the go. Give Feedback

PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | August 2021
"The Asus Laptop L410 is a super-affordable PC, even among budget notebooks, compromising on the display and processing power to deliver a serviceable Windows machine with good battery life and useful ports. The build is reasonably solid, there’s a good mix of ports, battery life is long enough, and it can perform basic everyday tasks. On the flip side, the screen is poor, anything other than basic tasks is a tough ask, and it has little memory and even less storage."

Tom's Hardware

Charles Jeffries | November 2022
"The MSI GF63 Thin 11SC can be an admirable value for gamers and power users on a minimal budget. For just $599 as reviewed in its base model, its Intel Core i5 H-class processor and Nvidia GeForce GTX 1650 graphics perform much better than low-wattage CPUs and integrated graphics. That said, this is a light-class gaming laptop. Low scores in our demanding gaming benchmarks indicate using lower visual-quality settings will be required for playable performance."
