The ASUS R410MA is significantly less expensive and provides basic performance suitable for general use, like web browsing and document editing, with a modest battery life and simple build. The MSI Prestige 15, on the other hand, is more expensive but offers higher performance for resource-intensive tasks such as 3D rendering or machine learning, along with better build quality and a superior screen. The ASUS is lighter and thus more portable, but the MSI has a longer battery life and more robust features, making it better suited for demanding engineering work or creative tasks that require high-quality graphics. PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | August 2021
"The Asus Laptop L410 is a super-affordable PC, even among budget notebooks, compromising on the display and processing power to deliver a serviceable Windows machine with good battery life and useful ports. The build is reasonably solid, there’s a good mix of ports, battery life is long enough, and it can perform basic everyday tasks. On the flip side, the screen is poor, anything other than basic tasks is a tough ask, and it has little memory and even less storage."

NotebookCheck

Mario Petzold | December 2022
"The MSI Prestige 15 offers a dazzling 4K image quality, and solid performance. The MSI Prestige 15 appears to consistently implement the guiding principle of throttling the solid and efficient hardware to such an extent that content creation succeeds perfectly. Performance-hungry tasks, on the other hand, are slowed down a little by the reduced power consumption. Conversely, this means that the case remains relatively cool and the dual fan subdued. The battery life also benefits somewhat. So the losses aren't really dramatic because full performance is still available for short bursts."
