The ASUS R410MA is a budget-friendly option with a lower price point, making it suitable for general use like web browsing, word processing, and light multitasking. Its portability is a strong point due to its lightweight design and decent battery life, ideal for on-the-go tasks. However, its performance is limited by the less powerful Intel Celeron processor and lack of a dedicated GPU, which means it's not suitable for gaming, 3D rendering, or intensive engineering tasks. The screen quality is also basic, with a lower resolution TN panel that's less vibrant compared to IPS technology. On the other hand, the Lenovo LOQ 15i offers a significant performance boost with its high-end Intel i7 processor and dedicated Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, making it capable of handling demanding tasks such as gaming, machine learning, and engineering software. The higher quality IPS display with better resolution and color accuracy is also a plus for those who need it for visual tasks or entertainment. It's less portable due to its larger size and weight, and the battery life is shorter compared to the ASUS, which is typical for more powerful laptops. The Lenovo also has better connectivity options with more USB-C and Thunderbolt ports, and it includes hardware ray tracing and DLSS, which are advantages for gaming and 3D applications. In summary, if you prioritize portability, battery life, and budget over performance, the ASUS R410MA is a reasonable choice for basic tasks. However, if you need a laptop that can handle more demanding applications and you're willing to compromise on portability and battery life, the Lenovo LOQ 15i is the better option. Give Feedback

PCMag

Matthew Buzzi | August 2021
"The Asus Laptop L410 is a super-affordable PC, even among budget notebooks, compromising on the display and processing power to deliver a serviceable Windows machine with good battery life and useful ports. The build is reasonably solid, there’s a good mix of ports, battery life is long enough, and it can perform basic everyday tasks. On the flip side, the screen is poor, anything other than basic tasks is a tough ask, and it has little memory and even less storage."

PCMag

Mark Knapp | August 2023
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
