The Apple MacBook Pro 16 has a better screen than the Lenovo LOQ 15 for general use, AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Pro's superior screen quality for general use and engineering stems from its high-resolution panel and exceptional brightness, enhancing clarity and visibility, alongside comprehensive color coverage, essential for precision in design tasks. The Lenovo LOQ 15 offers good screen quality with competent resolution and adequate brightness, suitable for everyday and professional tasks, yet lacks the wider color gamut necessary for the most color-critical work. However, both fall short for 3D uses due to their lower refresh rates, which can't provide the smooth visuals demanded by high-end gaming and 3D modeling.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 16 (Late 2023) and the Lenovo LOQ 15 compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023: M2 Max challenges GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The new MacBook Pro 16 2023 with the M2 Max SoC is the most powerful laptop Apple has on sale right now. While we do not get the expected performance and efficiency improvements from completely new 3 nm chips, which we expected ahead of the launch, the 2023 model is still a solid update. The CPU of the M2 Max can be up to 20 % faster than the old model and we also see an advantage of 25-30 % for the GPU with 38 cores. However, both components also consume more power, so the efficiency did not change that much under maximum load."
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
