The Apple MacBook Pro 16 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aorus 17H for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Pro 16's screen excels in color accuracy and high resolution which offers vibrant visuals for general use and detailed graphics for engineering and design, however, its lower refresh rate isn't ideal for 3D applications where smoother motion is required. The Gigabyte Aorus 17H also has a high-quality display suitable for general tasks and supports a wide color gamut benefitting engineering and design work, but its refresh rate, while higher than the MacBook's, may still fall short for the optimal 3D experience where fast refresh rates are crucial. Screen quality for gaming and 3D is not just about color and clarity but also about how fluid the motion appears, which is governed by the refresh rate.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 16 (2021) and the Gigabyte Aorus 17H compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023: M2 Max challenges GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The new MacBook Pro 16 2023 with the M2 Max SoC is the most powerful laptop Apple has on sale right now. While we do not get the expected performance and efficiency improvements from completely new 3 nm chips, which we expected ahead of the launch, the 2023 model is still a solid update. The CPU of the M2 Max can be up to 20 % faster than the old model and we also see an advantage of 25-30 % for the GPU with 38 cores. However, both components also consume more power, so the efficiency did not change that much under maximum load."
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
