When deciding between the Apple MacBook Pro 16 (Late 2019) and the ASUS ROG Flow Z13, consider that the MacBook Pro offers a larger screen, longer battery life, and MacOS operating system, making it well-suited for general use and creative professionals who prefer Apple's ecosystem. On the other hand, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a top-tier processor, superior graphics, and a high refresh rate display, ideal for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning tasks, plus it has the versatility of a detachable keyboard for tablet use. If cost is a concern and your tasks are more about daily productivity and media work, the MacBook Pro is a cost-effective option, while for cutting-edge performance and gaming with Windows 11, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 could be worth the higher cost, despite being less portable and having shorter battery life. How the Apple MacBook Pro 16 (Late 2019) and the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Pro 16 2023: M2 Max challenges GeForce RTX 3080 Ti. The new MacBook Pro 16 2023 with the M2 Max SoC is the most powerful laptop Apple has on sale right now. While we do not get the expected performance and efficiency improvements from completely new 3 nm chips, which we expected ahead of the launch, the 2023 model is still a solid update. The CPU of the M2 Max can be up to 20 % faster than the old model and we also see an advantage of 25-30 % for the GPU with 38 cores. However, both components also consume more power, so the efficiency did not change that much under maximum load."
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
