The Apple MacBook Pro 14 (Late 2023) is typically slightly less expensive, has a newer processor from Apple with good performance for general use and certain professional applications, but it may not be as well-suited for demanding 3D applications or intense gaming as the Razer Blade 15. The Razer Blade 15, though often pricier, provides increased storage and more robust performance for gaming and resource-intensive tasks due to its dedicated Nvidia graphics. The MacBook Pro boasts a high-resolution Mini LED display with a higher refresh rate, which is excellent for creative work, whereas the Razer has a traditional IPS display with a significantly high refresh rate, better for gaming. The MacBook is lighter and may have better battery life, making it more portable, while the Razer's emphasis on performance results in a heavier build and potentially shorter battery time. If portability and battery life are paramount, go for the MacBook Pro. If gaming or heavy 3D tasks are crucial, the Razer Blade 15 may be better despite the higher cost and reduced portability. The Apple MacBook Pro 14 has a better screen than the Razer Blade 15 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Pro 14's screen excels in general use and engineering tasks because of its high resolution, brightness, and wide color gamuts ensuring vivid and accurate color representation, which is essential for design work. However, its lower refresh rate compared to gaming-specific models can be a drawback for 3D applications where smooth motion is crucial. The Razer Blade 15 also offers a high-quality display with good resolution and brightness for general and design purposes, but it lacks the higher refresh rate preferred for gaming and some 3D work, leading to less fluid visuals in fast-paced scenarios.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 14 (Late 2023) and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"In the Apple MacBook Pro 14 2023, the M2 Pro is slowed down. From the improved 5nm process, the new M2 Pro is a very solid upgrade. Graphics performance has increased by about 25% in tandem with a clear improvement in efficiency. The processor has also seen a performance leap of up to 20%, but this is accompanied by an increase in consumption of up to 25%. Fundamentally, Apple its maintaining its advantage over AMD and Intel, particularly in optimized applications where the results are very good in view of the comparatively low power consumption."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
