If you prioritize a higher-resolution screen, better battery life, and a lighter, more compact design, the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is a strong option. However, the Lenovo LOQ 15 offers a larger screen with a higher refresh rate, significantly more power for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks, as well as better gaming capabilities thanks to its dedicated Nvidia graphics card. The tradeoff in choosing the Lenovo is in portability due to its greater weight and thickness, and shorter battery life. Keep in mind the MacBook runs MacOS while the Lenovo operates on Windows, which can be a deciding factor based on your software needs. Both are similar in price, so your decision should hinge on your performance needs and operating system preference. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the Lenovo LOQ 15 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the Lenovo LOQ 15 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) excels in screen quality for general use and engineering with its high-resolution display and bright panel, complemented by broad color coverage for precise design work. However, its lower refresh rate limits its appeal for 3D applications, which require faster screen updates for smooth visuals.
The Lenovo LOQ 15 offers a good display for general use and engineering due to respectable resolution and brightness, and decent color gamut representation. Yet, its performance falls short for gaming and 3D because of a lower refresh rate that can't keep up with the fast-paced visuals expected in such scenarios.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Lenovo LOQ 15 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"Even after a short time with the LOQ 15, you'll find it has a lot going for it, but ultimately it's just "good"—not quite a star. The performance is respectable for the hardware it’s running, but Lenovo had to make some design sacrifices to trim the price. One of the better aspects is the keyboard, making it one of the better low-cost gaming laptops to actually put your hands on."
