If performance and build quality are priorities and you can afford a higher price, the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) should serve you well, especially if your work includes intensive tasks like video editing or software development. However, if basic tasks like web browsing, office applications, and media consumption are your main activities, and budget is a concern, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14" offers the essentials at a much lower cost. The MacBook Pro also usually offers longer battery life and a better display, but the IdeaPad is lighter and easier to carry around. Consider what you value more: high performance and premium features, or affordability and convenience. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is well-regarded for general use because it features a potent Apple M2 processor, a high-quality IPS screen with excellent color coverage, and a long-lasting battery, all in a lightweight and premium build. In contrast, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14" is considered poor for general use due to its basic Intel Celeron N4020 CPU, lower-quality TN display with limited color accuracy, and significantly shorter battery life, despite being comparably light and portable.

"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"The IdeaPad 1 14 is a simple machine, but it’s well-designed and has nearly everything you’d expect from a no-nonsense laptop that allows you to check emails and get schoolwork or other light tasks done with relative ease. A "true" 128GB SSD (as opposed to an eMMC drive) and a roomy 14-inch full HD display are arguably the star attractions, with the comfortable keyboard and reasonably modern styling playing important backup roles."
