If you're looking for superior performance for demanding tasks such as video editing or 3D design, the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) offers a higher-quality display and a more powerful processor that excels in creative applications, but this comes at a higher price. The HP Victus 15, on the other hand, provides a larger screen and dedicated graphics suitable for gaming and other graphics-intensive tasks at a more affordable price. However, it is bulkier and might offer shorter battery life than the MacBook Pro. If portability and battery longevity are critical for you, and you work within an ecosystem using macOS-specific software, the MacBook Pro is the better choice. On the other hand, for gaming or extensive Windows-based productivity at a lower cost, the HP Victus 15 could be the way to go. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is good for engineering and design, while the HP Victus 15 is only fair.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 with its M2 processor and integrated GPU, high screen resolution and color coverage, is better for tasks needing visual fidelity and runs silently, making it suitable for design work, while its smaller screen and higher portability benefit mobile use. The HP Victus 15, equipped with an Intel CPU and dedicated Nvidia GPU, caters to more hardware-intensive engineering applications; however, it's heavier and its lower screen quality may not be as suitable for design tasks that require precision in color representation.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the HP Victus 15 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a high-resolution Retina display with bright and vibrant colors, making it excellent for general use and engineering tasks that require accurate color representation; however, it lacks the high refresh rate that is crucial for smooth 3D rendering. The HP Victus 15 offers good general-use visuals but may not provide the same color accuracy and brightness as the MacBook, affecting users performing color-sensitive work in engineering and design. For gaming and 3D applications, the HP Victus 15's display doesn't support the rapid refresh rates needed to deliver the smoothest visuals, which can detract from the experience.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the HP Victus 15 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, and Yannick Khong | March 2023
"The HP Victus 15 is great for gaming. It's available with Intel 12th Gen. CPUs and NVIDIA discrete graphics, which are powerful enough to provide a smooth gaming experience in demanding AAA titles at 1080p. It has a nice keyboard and a fast SSD, as well as Wi-Fi 6 and Ethernet connectivity for low-latency online gaming. Unfortunately, its 144Hz display has a slow response time causing noticeable ghosting, and it doesn't support variable refresh rate to reduce screen tearing."
