The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) outshines the HP Stream 14" in several areas—it offers better overall performance for tasks like video editing, music production, and software development due to its more powerful processor and graphics capabilities. You will also get a higher-resolution display, which means sharper images and text. However, this comes at a higher price point. On the other hand, the HP Stream 14" is more budget-friendly and may suffice for basic tasks like web browsing, word processing, and light streaming. It’s also slightly lighter, potentially making it easier to carry around. The MacBook Pro may yield a better battery life, contributing to its portability despite its slightly heavier build. If your work or hobbies require more intensive computing power and you're okay with a higher cost, the MacBook Pro could be the ideal choice. Conversely, if your needs are more basic and budget is a main concern, the HP Stream may be more suitable. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is good for general use, while the HP Stream 14" is only fair.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022), with its high-resolution IPS display, long battery life, and capable M2 processor, excels in screen quality and performance for various tasks, offering a premium user experience in a highly portable design. The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is only fair for gaming and AI, while the HP Stream 14" is poor.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13's fair performance in 3D applications is largely due to its better integrated GPU in the M2 processor, which can handle more graphics-intense tasks compared to the HP Stream 14's Intel UHD Graphics 600. However, both laptops have similar screen refresh rates, limiting their gaming capabilities, and the MacBook Pro's MacOS may be incompatible with many popular games, unlike the HP Stream 14's Windows 11 that supports a broader game library.

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the HP Stream 14" for general use, AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Apple MacBook Pro 13 uses a high-resolution Retina display that provides exceptional clarity and detail for both general use and detailed engineering work, with a wide color gamut that helps in accurately displaying colors for design tasks. However, its screen lacks a high refresh rate, which is crucial for smooth visuals in 3D environments, making it less suitable for those applications. In contrast, the HP Stream 14" has a lower resolution and limited color range, resulting in a less vibrant and sharp display for all types of tasks, and its standard refresh rate does not meet the demands of 3D applications or high-end gaming.

"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"With half of the main system memory and a fraction of the storage that we recommend in any budget Windows laptop, the HP Stream 14 does not impress. Perhaps it doesn't need to, depending on your reference point. For the price, you're getting a functional laptop with Windows 10, which already places the HP Stream 14 above most Chromebooks on that merit alone. Still, in this price range, you can't do much worse, but you can do better. In fact, for just $100 more, you can grab the much superior budget option, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14."
