The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the HP 14" Laptop for general use, AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The MacBook Pro's screen offers high resolution and brightness, making it ideal for general use where clarity and visibility are key. For engineering and design tasks, it provides wide color gamuts, ensuring accurate color representation which is essential for detailed work. However, for 3D applications, the MacBook Pro's lower refresh rate makes it less suitable as smooth motion and quick refreshes are critical for these tasks, while the HP laptop’s limitations in resolution and color accuracy might suffice for casual use but fall short for both professional design work and the fast-paced visuals expected in modern gaming.

"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"This feels like an ideal laptop for someone who doesn’t want to spend a lot of money on a laptop and isn’t too bothered by things like build quality or construction. It’s a laptop that will be used to pay bills, keep track of expenses, do some online shopping, and will be tucked away in a spare bedroom/home office. It’s an appliance designed to do a job without fuss. It’s not a premium experience—the materials do feel a little cheap, the display won’t exactly wow you, and the battery life is nothing to write home about, especially if you’ve used more expensive devices. But overall it’s not too shabby, especially for the price."
