The Apple MacBook Pro 13 is better suited for general use, with a higher-quality display, and its lightweight, slim design makes it more portable. It also benefits from a longer battery life and silent operation due to its fanless design. However, if you require more power for tasks such as gaming, 3D rendering, or machine learning, the Gigabyte Aorus 17G has a more powerful processor and a high-end dedicated graphics card, which can handle these intensive tasks better. The Aorus 17G also has a larger screen, which is beneficial for detailed work, but it is heavier and less portable. Consider the Aorus 17G if you need the extra performance and don't mind the added cost and decreased battery life. If portability, battery life, and lower costs are your priorities, and your work doesn't involve intensive tasks, the MacBook Pro 13 would be the better choice. Give Feedback

The Apple MacBook Pro 13 has a better screen than the Gigabyte Aorus 17G for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the Gigabyte Aorus 17G has a better screen for gaming and AI.
For general use, the MacBook Pro 13's vibrant display, high resolution, and bright panel provide a crisp and vivid visual experience that is easy on the eyes, while the Gigabyte Aorus 17G offers a similar resolution and brightness but might not match the fine detail and color subtlety of the MacBook. In the realm of engineering and design, the MacBook stands out with wide color gamuts ensuring accurate representation of colors which is crucial for detailed work, whereas the Aorus may fall slightly short in color precision. However, for 3D applications where smoothness is key, the Aorus's higher refresh rate is preferable despite its average resolution and panel type, while the MacBook's lower refresh rate makes it less ideal for such tasks despite its otherwise exceptional display.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Gigabyte Aorus 17G compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"The Aorus 17G isn't among the top RTX 3080 laptops due to its relatively low TGP of 105 watts. The device's gaming performance is average for an RTX 3080. For maximum performance, competitors like the Lenovo Legion 7 or the Alienware m17 R4 are recommended With the Aorus 17G, Gigabyte delivers a well-rounded gaming laptop. However, the device generates a high noise level. Throttling is not an issue. The CPU and GPU can develop their performance uniformly. Nevertheless, the device produces a lot of noise under load - more than many competitors."
