The Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) is known for its excellent build quality, stellar performance for general use, and long battery life, which makes it a good choice for users who value a balance between portability and power, and who work primarily within the Apple ecosystem. The Dell XPS 15, on the other hand, tends to offer a larger screen, stronger performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming due to its more powerful graphics hardware, but this also makes it larger and often less portable than the MacBook Pro 13. The XPS 15 might be less ideal for day-long use away from a power source given its potentially shorter battery life compared to the MacBook Pro. Consider the MacBook Pro if you prioritize a lightweight machine and long battery life for productivity tasks. Opt for the Dell XPS 15 if your work involves more graphics-intensive tasks and you can handle a little extra weight for a more robust performance. Give Feedback

The Dell XPS 15 and Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Dell XPS 15, with its Intel Arc dedicated GPU and compatibility with many popular games due to Windows OS, is well-suited for gaming and 3D tasks, whereas the Apple MacBook Pro 13's integrated GPU and MacOS limit gaming options and deliver less graphical power for 3D applications. Additionally, the Dell's larger screen offers a more immersive gaming experience, though both laptops have similar screen refresh rates which are not optimal for high-frame-rate gaming.

How the Apple MacBook Pro 13 (2022) and the Dell XPS 15 compare to other laptops
"The MacBook Pro 13 is still a very good subnotebook. The 2022 MacBook Pro 13 might look like recycling at first, because the device is completely identical to the old model expect for the new M2 SoC. We have to admit that we were surprised to see another iteration of the MBP 13 as well. The laptop is obviously familiar, but this does not change the fact that it is still a very good subnotebook. You get an excellent chassis with good stability, a very good display, good input devices and the new M2 chip is very powerful and efficient."
"The 2023 Dell XPS 15 is more or less exactly what you'd expect from the company flagship. Its fresh components deliver measurably superior power and longevity, while the machine's premium build and design remain intact. It may not be overly exciting, but XPS loyalists and upgraders should be more than happy."
