If you prioritize performance for gaming, 3D rendering, and require a larger screen and more storage, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 16" with its dedicated graphics card is a good choice; however, it is heavier and has a shorter battery life, which could be a compromise on portability. In contrast, the Apple MacBook Air (2022) offers a lighter build and longer battery life, making it more portable and suitable for general use, but its integrated graphics are less suited for intensive gaming or engineering applications. The MacBook also tends to be less expensive, but with less RAM and smaller storage capacity. Both laptops have high-quality keyboards and displays, although the Lenovo has a higher refresh rate which is advantageous for fast-motion visuals. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | July 2022
"The Apple MacBook Air M2 Entry is a very good, but too expensive daily MacBook. The new MacBook Air M2 is undoubtedly once again a very good mobile companion, but we are still a little bit disappointed on a very high level, which is definitely connected with the increased price point. The new chassis is extremely slim and the front edge is no problem during typing, but the bezels are pretty wide for a modern device and in addition with the vertical space required for the notch, the new Air has larger footprint than some Windows rivals."

NotebookCheck

Benjamin Herzig | November 2022
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
