When deciding between the Apple MacBook Air (2022) and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6", consider your primary use case. The MacBook Air is known for its sleek design, long battery life, and is excellent for general use and productivity, especially if you prefer or already use Apple's ecosystem. The Legion Slim, on the other hand, has a more powerful graphics card and a faster processor, making it better suited for gaming, 3D rendering, or intensive engineering tasks, but this also results in shorter battery life and less portability. If budget is a concern, the Legion may offer more power for the price, but it is also heavier and bulkier, which may impact its convenience for on-the-go use. On the contrary, the MacBook Air is more expensive, but you pay a premium for its lightweight and thin design, making it more portable and stylish. Consider what's more important to you: performance for demanding applications or a balance of portability, battery life, and seamless integration with other Apple devices. Give Feedback

The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" is good for gaming and AI, while the Apple MacBook Air (2022) is only fair.
The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is better suited for gaming and 3D applications owing to its dedicated Nvidia RTX 3060 graphics card and a higher screen refresh rate, which provide superior visual performance and smoother motion in games and 3D environments. In contrast, the Apple MacBook Air (2022) with its integrated Apple M2 GPU and a standard refresh rate screen is less optimal for these tasks, plus it cannot run many popular games that are not compatible with macOS.

The Apple MacBook Air has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 for general use, engineering and design, software development, and content creation, while the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a better screen for gaming and AI.
The Apple MacBook Air provides a high-resolution display and exceptional brightness, making it excellent for daily tasks where clarity and readability are key, while its broad color gamut ensures accurate color representation vital for engineering and design work. The Lenovo Legion Slim's good screen quality stems from its decent resolution and adequate brightness that suffices for general tasks and supports precision in design, though it falls short for gaming and 3D due to a lower refresh rate that limits smoothness in fast-paced visuals. Both laptops, while offering satisfactory resolutions and panel technologies for office work and creative endeavors, lack the high refresh rates that are essential for a seamless 3D experience, which is a critical factor for gamers and professionals working with dynamic 3D content.

How the Apple MacBook Air (2022) and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Air M2 Entry is a very good, but too expensive daily MacBook. The new MacBook Air M2 is undoubtedly once again a very good mobile companion, but we are still a little bit disappointed on a very high level, which is definitely connected with the increased price point. The new chassis is extremely slim and the front edge is no problem during typing, but the bezels are pretty wide for a modern device and in addition with the vertical space required for the notch, the new Air has larger footprint than some Windows rivals."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
