If you prioritize battery life and silent operation for general use like browsing and productivity tasks, the Apple MacBook Air (2022) is well-suited with its efficient M2 processor and fanless design. Its display offers higher color accuracy and brightness which can be great for media consumption. However, if you need a more customizable and repairable laptop with better connectivity options such as an HDMI port and more USB ports, then the Framework Laptop 13 (2023) might suit you better. The Framework Laptop also runs Windows 11 and offers better performance for engineering and 3D applications, despite having a shorter battery life compared to the MacBook Air. Give Feedback

How the Apple MacBook Air (2022) and the Framework Laptop 13 (2023) compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Air M2 Entry is a very good, but too expensive daily MacBook. The new MacBook Air M2 is undoubtedly once again a very good mobile companion, but we are still a little bit disappointed on a very high level, which is definitely connected with the increased price point. The new chassis is extremely slim and the front edge is no problem during typing, but the bezels are pretty wide for a modern device and in addition with the vertical space required for the notch, the new Air has larger footprint than some Windows rivals."
"If you’re thinking of investing in your first Framework, now is the time. The kinks and rough edges have all been smoothed out and this is a very nice machine with a bright, upgradable future. The only reason I can think of to wait is the AMD model, which I’ll be sure to test as soon as I can get my hands on one."
