The Apple MacBook Air (2022) is more affordable with long battery life and is extremely portable, ideal for general use with its fanless design ensuring silent operation. However, its performance for 3D tasks and engineering software is less robust compared to other options. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 offers more power for performance-intensive tasks like 3D rendering and engineering software, a touch-enabled display with high refresh rates for better interactivity, and a dedicated graphics card suitable for gaming. However, it is typically more expensive, heavier with its power brick, and has shorter battery life, making it less ideal for on-the-go use. Give Feedback

The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is good for gaming and AI, while the Apple MacBook Air (2022) is only fair.
The Apple MacBook Air (2022) has a less power-intensive integrated GPU suitable for basic 3D tasks and a screen refresh rate typical for everyday usage but not high for gaming; combined with the MacBook's MacOS, which lacks compatibility with many popular games. Conversely, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13's more powerful dedicated Nvidia RTX GPU and high screen refresh rate can handle demanding games and more complex 3D applications, plus it runs Windows, which supports a broader range of games.

How the Apple MacBook Air (2022) and the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 compare to other laptops
"The Apple MacBook Air M2 Entry is a very good, but too expensive daily MacBook. The new MacBook Air M2 is undoubtedly once again a very good mobile companion, but we are still a little bit disappointed on a very high level, which is definitely connected with the increased price point. The new chassis is extremely slim and the front edge is no problem during typing, but the bezels are pretty wide for a modern device and in addition with the vertical space required for the notch, the new Air has larger footprint than some Windows rivals."
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
