If performance is crucial, particularly for work involving 3D modeling, machine learning, or engineering, the ASUS Zenbook S 13 with its advanced processor and ample memory is a superior choice. However, it comes at a higher price. Its OLED screen offers better color accuracy and brightness, favoring creative professionals who need precision in visuals. In contrast, the MSI GF63 Thin is less expensive and has a dedicated graphics card suitable for gaming, but it lags behind in processing power and is heavier, making it less portable. Its IPS display delivers good quality but not as vibrant as OLED. For long hours away from the power outlet, the ASUS has a longer battery life. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | May 2023
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."

NotebookCheck

Florian Glaser | January 2020
"If you leave aside the meagre port selection (no card reader, no DisplayPort, no Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 Gen2), the fan control that could be improved (idle mode!) and the relatively dark and slow display, the MSI GF63 Thin 9SC does not have any major weaknesses. The 15-inch gamer is compact, has a low weight and offers a good price-to-performance ratio, which should please gamers that are looking for both a portable and an affordable gaming notebook. Input devices, battery life, case quality and performance are all appropriate for this purchase price."
