If portability is key, the ASUS Zenbook S 13 is lighter and thinner, making it easier to carry. For better performance in 3D rendering, machine learning, and gaming, the Lenovo Slim Pro 7 14 has a dedicated Nvidia graphics card and a higher max refresh rate display. However, the Lenovo is heavier, which may reduce its convenience for travel. The ASUS offers better battery life and a higher quality OLED screen, ideal for professionals needing true color representation, and its keyboard and build quality are rated slightly higher. The Lenovo has a touchscreen and a higher capacity battery, potentially offering an edge in interactive use and longer unplugged time. Both laptops have ample storage and memory for general use and engineering tasks, though the ASUS comes with more RAM. Consider what's most important for your use: portability and screen quality, or gaming and intensive task performance. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | May 2023
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."

Matthew S. Smith | May 2023
"The Lenovo Slim Pro 7 is an attractive, portable laptop that’s ideal if you need a combination of CPU and GPU performance. It also nails the fundamentals with solid connectivity, an enjoyable keyboard, a large touchpad, and top-notch webcam. Display quality is a weakness, but it’s an acceptable compromise for the laptop’s extremely competitive $1,199 MSRP. The Slim Pro 7 is a versatile, affordable laptop and hard to beat for the price."
