The ASUS Zenbook S 13 offers a higher resolution OLED display which is beneficial for color-critical work, and is lighter and more portable, making it more suitable for frequent travel. It has longer battery life and a significantly better portability score. However, if you require more graphics performance for tasks such as 3D rendering or engineering simulations, the Lenovo Slim 7 16 comes with a dedicated Nvidia graphics card. It also has a larger screen and its touchscreen could offer additional convenience. The Lenovo is heavier, which may affect its portability, and it has a lower resolution IPS display, but it's priced more affordably than the ASUS. If budget and graphics performance are primary concerns, the Lenovo might be more suitable, while for mobility and screen quality, the ASUS would be the better option. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | May 2023
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."

PCMag

Eric Grevstad | March 2022
"At $1,011, the Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 7 Pro is a real bargain among full-sized laptops, with a handsome 16-inch, 16:10 aspect ratio touch screen, a speedy CPU, a comfortable keyboard, ample memory, and a roomy solid-state drive. It's not a blazing gaming rig or mobile workstation, but it doesn't pretend to be. Its biggest negative is that it may be hard to find—during our review, it sold out and was marked "Temporarily Unavailable" on Lenovo's site."
