The ASUS Zenbook S 13 provides premium performance and a high-quality display, suitable for intensive tasks and viewing rich media content. It has a more powerful processor and a higher resolution screen compared to the HP Stream 14", which could make the ASUS ideal for demanding applications and multitasking. On the other hand, the HP Stream 14" is a budget-friendly option, better suited for basic everyday use such as web browsing, word processing, and video streaming. If portability is important, the ASUS is lighter, but the HP Stream has a larger screen. For longevity and heavy usage, the ASUS is the better option, but if you're looking for cost savings and primarily engage in lighter tasks, the HP Stream might suffice. Give Feedback

NotebookCheck

Andreas Osthoff | May 2023
"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."

PCMag

Zachary Cuevas | November 2021
"With half of the main system memory and a fraction of the storage that we recommend in any budget Windows laptop, the HP Stream 14 does not impress. Perhaps it doesn't need to, depending on your reference point. For the price, you're getting a functional laptop with Windows 10, which already places the HP Stream 14 above most Chromebooks on that merit alone. Still, in this price range, you can't do much worse, but you can do better. In fact, for just $100 more, you can grab the much superior budget option, the Lenovo IdeaPad 1 14."
