The ASUS Zenbook S 13 is very good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook Go 14 is only fair.
The ASUS Zenbook S 13, with a high-quality OLED screen, more RAM, a powerful Intel processor, and longer battery life, is well-suited for general use, particularly tasks that demand good performance and display quality. Conversely, the ASUS Vivobook Go 14, despite being lighter and thus more portable, has an IPS screen with lower resolution, less RAM, a less powerful AMD processor, and shorter battery life, which makes it fair for general use but not as capable as its counterpart.

The ASUS Zenbook S 13 has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook Go 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The ASUS Zenbook S 13, with its high resolution and brightness, provides clarity and detail which are essential for general use and engineering tasks, while its wide color gamuts ensure accuracy important for design work. However, it falls short for gaming and 3D due to a lower refresh rate, which can make fast-paced visuals less smooth. The ASUS Vivobook Go 14 offers a fair screen for everyday tasks and capable enough for less demanding engineering and design projects, but similar to the Zenbook, it isn't ideal for gaming or 3D pursuits because of its modest refresh rate.

"The Asus Zenbook S 13 is the slimmest OLED ultrabook worldwide struggles with annoying fans. The new Zenbook S 13 leaves us with mixed feelings, particularly since last year's model was so good. Asus has completely reworked the device, making the laptop noticeably slimmer. The result also looks good and the case makes a great impression, particularly also in terms of the stability. The new plasma ceramic surface feels great, and there are no problems with fingerprints. In addition, it now includes some of the known connections such as an HDMI port and a regular USB-A connection, which is a good achievement in such a slim device."
"The lack of a backlit keyboard in this price segment shouldn't sway the buyer the other way. However, it still comes down to user preference. The Vivobook Go 14 is a decent laptop in an extremely competitive price segment. A few omissions are a part of the balancing to reach the price segment. The Asus Vivobook Go 14 is a rare find when it comes to the price to performance ratio."
