The Acer Swift X is more expensive and offers better performance, suitable for intensive tasks such as engineering, 3D work, machine learning, and gaming. It has a powerful AMD processor, dedicated Nvidia graphics, more storage, and a higher-resolution display, making it more capable for heavy workloads. Its battery life might not be as long as less powerful laptops. The ASUS Vivobook Go is much more affordable, but it's better suited for general use with its Intel Celeron processor and integrated graphics. It's more portable due to its smaller size and lightweight design, making it easier to carry around. If performance is a priority and you're ready to invest more, the Acer Swift X would be the better choice. However, if you're primarily doing light tasks and value portability and affordability, the ASUS Vivobook Go would be sufficient. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift X (2021) is good for general use, while the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 is poor.
The Acer Swift X (2021) is better for general use primarily due to its more powerful AMD processor, higher RAM capacity, and superior screen quality with an IPS panel, making it suitable for a variety of tasks and providing a pleasing visual experience. In contrast, the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 has a less powerful Intel Celeron processor, lower RAM, and a lower quality TN display, which limits its ability to handle multiple tasks smoothly and offers a less vibrant display, making it less ideal for general use.

The Acer Swift X has a better screen than the ASUS Vivobook Go 12 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Acer Swift X offers a balance of resolution and brightness that makes it suitable for everyday tasks, enhancing clarity and visibility, whereas the ASUS Vivobook Go 12's lower resolution and brightness may result in a less crisp and dimmer display, less comfortable for prolonged use. For engineering and design, the Swift X's broader color gamut supports more accurate color representation, which is crucial for detailed and color-critical work, an area where the Vivobook Go 12's limited color range falls short. In contrast, for gaming and 3D applications where smooth motion is key, the Acer Swift X's lower refresh rate could lead to less fluid visuals compared to laptops designed with higher refresh rates, despite its advantages in resolution and color accuracy.

"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
