Choosing between the Acer Swift X (2022) and the Razer Blade 15 depends on your priorities. The Acer Swift X offers solid performance at a more affordable price and is lighter and more portable, making it suitable for general use and some gaming or creative tasks. On the other hand, the Razer Blade 15, while usually more expensive, provides significantly higher performance for gaming and intensive tasks, with a larger screen, higher refresh rate, and more powerful graphics. It is, however, heavier which may affect portability. If long battery life or a lightweight, cost-effective option is key, go with the Acer. For top-tier gaming or professional graphics work, invest in the Razer Blade. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 15 is very good for gaming and AI, while the Acer Swift X (2022) is only fair.
The Acer Swift X is equipped with an Nvidia RTX 3050 and a screen refresh rate of 60 Hz, making it fair for gaming and 3D as it can handle games reasonably well but may not offer the smoothest visuals in high-action scenes. On the other hand, the Razer Blade 15 boasts a more powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti and an impressive 240 Hz screen refresh rate, which makes it very good for gaming and 3D, delivering smoother and more immersive graphics particularly in fast-paced games.

The Razer Blade 15 is very good for engineering and design, while the Acer Swift X (2022) is good.
The Acer Swift X (2022) is well-suited for engineering and design tasks offering a solid CPU, NVIDIA RTX 3050 GPU, and a quality IPS screen; however, the Razer Blade 15 takes the lead with a more powerful CPU, a higher-end NVIDIA RTX 3070 Ti GPU, and a faster refresh rate screen for smoother visuals, though it is less portable and heavier. Both have substantial RAM and high-resolution displays required for such work, but the Blade 15's superior hardware and screen quality make it very good for demanding engineering and design applications.

The Razer Blade 15 has a better screen than the Acer Swift X for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
When considering the Acer Swift X, its strong resolution and brightness make it suitable for daily tasks and work in engineering due to clear visuals and comfortable viewing. However, for gaming and 3D applications, its lower refresh rate leads to less fluid motion, which can be a drawback for fast-paced visuals. On the other hand, the Razer Blade 15 offers excellent resolution and wide color gamuts, enhancing precision for design tasks, yet its screen falls short for gaming due to its poor refresh rate, despite other high-end features.

How the Acer Swift X (2022) and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
