The Acer Swift X is designed for general use and light content creation, offering good performance and portability with all-day battery life, suited for people who need to work on the go. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is tailored for gaming and intensive tasks with high-end performance but at the expense of shorter battery life and less portability. If you require a lightweight laptop for everyday tasks, choose the Acer Swift X. However, if you need a powerful machine for gaming, 3D rendering, or complex engineering software, the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 would be the better choice despite its heftier build and greater power consumption. The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 has a better screen than the Acer Swift X for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, both the Acer Swift X and Lenovo Legion Slim 7 have displays with adequate resolution and brightness, ensuring clear and vivid visuals for everyday tasks like browsing and document editing. Engineering and design professionals find value in their wide color gamuts that accurately reproduce colors, crucial for tasks such as photo editing or CAD work. However, gamers and 3D artists may find the refresh rates on these laptops insufficient for the smooth rendering of fast-paced visuals and animations that are essential for an immersive gaming experience and fluid 3D model manipulation.

How the Acer Swift X (2022) and the Lenovo Legion Slim 7 15.6" compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The Lenovo Legion Slim 7 is a slim Legion notebook that is just as excellent with Nvidia & Intel. However, the Legion Slim 7i slightly sullied by lacklustre battery life. You get a slim aluminium chassis, great input devices, decent port selection, fast high-quality WQXGA display and great performance. Supporting Thunderbolt 4 is one advantage of the Intel/Nvidia model tested in this review. Moreover, this variant has slightly higher CPU performance as well as better GPU performance in certain applications (e.g. CUDA-based apps). The Lenovo Legion S7i is thin, premium and performant – but less efficient than its AMD counterpart."
