The Acer Swift X is a more portable and somewhat less expensive option with good all-around performance and a respectable battery life, making it suitable for general use and light engineering work. On the other hand, the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X provides a larger, higher-resolution OLED touchscreen that excels in color accuracy, which is particularly beneficial for tasks like 3D rendering and machine learning. Though more expensive, it possesses a more powerful GPU and a larger battery, yet it is heavier which reduces its portability. For engineering tasks that demand high performance and graphics work, the ASUS may be worth the extra investment despite the tradeoff in portability. Give Feedback

How the Acer Swift X (2022) and the ASUS Zenbook Pro 16X compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The new Zenbook Pro 16X is more powerful, quieter and doesn't need to shy away from dedicated workstations and gamers. It is also comparatively compact, and our test device is the best Zenbook that we've reviewed so far. It seems equally suitable for content creators and gamers or anyone looking for a very powerful laptop that is still slim."
