If performance for intensive engineering tasks or gaming is a priority and you can afford it, the Acer Swift X with its dedicated Nvidia graphics card is a solid choice, but keep in mind it's heavier and has a shorter battery life. On the other hand, if you're looking for something more affordable, suitable for general use, and with a longer battery life, the ASUS Zenbook 14, featuring an OLED screen and Intel integrated graphics, is both lighter and typically much less expensive. However, the Zenbook may not handle demanding software as well as the Swift X. Give Feedback

When considering general use, the Acer Swift X offers a decent display for daily tasks with ample resolution and brightness, but the Asus Zenbook 14 steps ahead with a display that offers greater sharpness and brightness, making it more appealing for tasks like browsing and video streaming. The Asus Zenbook 14 also shines for engineering and design use with a wider color range, providing richer and more accurate colors essential for precise visual work, while the Acer Swift X, although adequate, can't match the Zenbook's color fidelity. However, for 3D work and gaming, neither laptop excels due to their limited refresh rates; they can handle basic 3D tasks but won't provide the fluid visuals that dedicated gaming displays with higher refresh rates would offer.

How the Acer Swift X (2022) and the ASUS Zenbook 14 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"Users who travel frequently and are looking for a portable laptop are in the right place with the Asus ZenBook 14. The sleek case is extremely light (1.2 kg) and surprisingly thin (1.5 cm). Outdoor use is also enjoyable thanks to the bright Full HD display, which is something that can rarely be said about laptops with TN or IPS panels. The excellent battery life complements this as well. Longer trips are no problem with the ZenBook 14. Another plus point is the high-performance Ryzen 7 5700U, which often leaves the Intel competition in the dust thanks to its large number of cores."
