When considering the Acer Swift X and the HP Spectre x360 14, take into account that the Acer tends to offer strong performance for tasks such as video editing or gaming due to its dedicated graphics card, which makes it a solid choice for more demanding applications. However, its battery life may not be as long as the HP Spectre's. If portability and versatility are priorities, the HP Spectre's convertibility to a tablet and possibly better battery life can be appealing, but this might come at a higher cost. Ultimately, your decision should align with your primary needs, whether they lean more towards performance or flexibility and mobility. Give Feedback

The HP Spectre x360 14 has a better screen than the Acer Swift X for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
For general use, the Acer Swift X and the HP Spectre x360 14 both offer vivid displays with crisp resolution and brightness that enhances visibility and readability, making them ideal for browsing, multimedia consumption, and productivity tasks. In engineering and design, their ability to cover a wide range of colors is crucial, and both models excel by providing broad color gamuts that allow for accurate color work and detailed visual projects. However, for gaming and 3D applications, the refresh rate becomes a significant factor for smooth motion, and in this aspect, both models fall short compared to specialized gaming laptops, potentially leading to a less than optimal visual experience in fast-paced or graphically intensive scenarios.

How the Acer Swift X (2023) and the HP Spectre x360 14 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The numbers don’t lie — the HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) is a star, and a hell of a one at that. From performance to battery life, this machine is a dream. But why didn’t I give it a perfect score? Well, I wish the display performed better and that there were more ports to go around. If you’re itching for someone a little cheaper that offers a brighter display and significantly more battery life, I can only recommend the MacBook Pro 14 as a suitable substitute. Otherwise, the HP Spectre x360 14 (2024) is the perfect choice for those who want a reliable premium laptop."
