If portability and battery life are important to you, the Acer Swift X has a higher portability score and longer battery life compared to the Dell Inspiron. However, the Dell Inspiron offers double the storage space and has a larger screen for an often less expensive price, but its battery capacity is lower. Both have the same amount of RAM. For more visually dependent tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, or gaming, the Acer, with its Nvidia RTX 3050 GPU, will provide better performance than the Dell with its integrated AMD graphics. The Acer also has a touchscreen and higher screen refresh rate, which may enhance your user experience for certain applications. If weight is a concern, the Acer is also lighter. However, if cost is a decisive factor, consider that the Dell can come at a lower price point. Give Feedback

How the Acer Swift X (2023) and the Dell Inspiron 16 5635 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"Compared to the previous year’s Inspiron, Dell upgraded the screen aspect ratio on this generation, but also transitioned to a more minimalistic centered keyboard flanked by up-firing speakers. The 16-inch screen is huge plus and I really appreciate the extra real estate without sacrificing the footprint much. This year’s model is a little larger than last, though, as the former model was already very small for a 15 incher."
