The Acer Swift X (2023) is more wallet-friendly and has a 14.5-inch display that's good for portability, with decent performance for general use and casual gaming. However, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15, while pricier, offers a larger 15.6-inch OLED touchscreen with superior color accuracy and contrast, which is particularly advantageous for engineering, 3D work, and professional creative tasks. Additionally, it boasts a more powerful processor and graphics card, double the memory and storage, and longer battery life, making it well-suited for intensive workloads, although it's heavier and less portable than the Acer Swift X.
The choice depends on whether you prefer portability and savings with the Acer or are willing to invest in the ASUS for its premium performance and display quality for more demanding tasks. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift X (2023) is good for general use, offering a balance between portability with solid performance from its mid-range CPU and GPU, a high-resolution IPS screen for clear visuals, and substantial battery life. In contrast, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 excels in performance with a high-end CPU and superior GPU, an OLED touchscreen with exceptional resolution and color accuracy, but it is less portable due to its higher weight and it has a shorter battery life.

The ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 is good for gaming and AI, while the Acer Swift X (2023) is only fair.
The Acer Swift X is equipped with an Nvidia RTX 3050 and a 120Hz refresh rate screen, providing good gaming and 3D capabilities with smoother visuals, whereas the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 boasts a more powerful Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti and an OLED screen with superior color and contrast, but its 60Hz refresh rate might not be as smooth for fast-paced games. The ZenBook's higher-spec CPU and screen quality compensate for the lower refresh rate, making it very suitable for gaming and content creation that demands high graphical fidelity and color accuracy.

The Acer Swift X has a better screen than the ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 15 for gaming and AI, while the ASUS Zenbook Pro Duo 15 has a better screen for general use, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Swift X and ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 boast high-resolution, bright displays with various panel types offering crisp and vivid imagery suited for general tasks and detailed engineering work, which benefit from accurate color representation. However, despite their strong performance in color accuracy for engineering and design, which rely heavily on complete color spaces like DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB, they fall short for gaming and 3D applications due to their lower refresh rates. High refresh rates are crucial for smooth visuals in fast-paced environments, which is why these laptops aren't ideal for gaming despite their capability in other demanding tasks.

How the Acer Swift X (2023) and the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"Benchmarks aside, the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo is hard to compare with other PCs. Its closest competition may be a multi-monitor desktop, or a laptop with an attached travel monitor. The Pro Duo is more portable and versatile than either of those options, especially with the software tools Asus has thrown on top. For a certain niche of artists, media creators, and gamers, all that might add up to something special, even if it’s unattainable for the rest of us."
