The Acer Swift X (2023) offers significantly better performance for tasks like 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering due to a more powerful processor and dedicated graphics card. It also has a higher-resolution display and longer battery life, making it well-suited for intensive tasks and multimedia consumption. However, this comes at a higher price and with a slight decrease in portability compared to the ASUS Vivobook Go 15. On the other hand, the ASUS is more budget-friendly, but it has limited storage, lower performance capabilities, and a basic display, which could be fine for everyday tasks like web browsing and document editing but not for performance-intensive applications. How the Acer Swift X (2023) and the ASUS Vivobook Go 15 compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"The Asus Vivobook Go 15 is a good option if you’re looking for one device to tackle a bunch of smaller problems. For simple school studies, portable evening entertainment or distractions, and getting household admin or light office workloads out of the way, it’s a great little package with respectable battery life, and a great contender for the advent of cloud gaming."
