For general use, both the Acer Swift X (2023) and ASUS Vivobook 15X are suitable, but the Acer offers better performance thanks to its superior processor and double the RAM, which could make multitasking and demanding applications run more smoothly. The Acer also boasts a stronger GPU enabling better handling of 3D tasks, machine learning, and engineering software. However, the ASUS Vivobook 15X is cheaper, making it more budget-friendly without hugely compromising on performance for everyday tasks such as web browsing, document editing, and light photo editing. Portability is comparable; though the Acer is a bit lighter and thinner, both are manageable to carry. The Acer also has a higher resolution and a brighter display, enhancing your viewing experience, especially if working with visuals is important. Its battery life outperforms that of the ASUS, allowing for longer usage away from a power source. If you're into gaming or need advanced performance for specialized tasks, the Acer Swift X (2023) would be the better choice, albeit at a higher cost. However, for routine tasks and to save money, the ASUS Vivobook 15X might be sufficient. Give Feedback

How the Acer Swift X (2023) and the ASUS Vivobook 15X compare to other laptops
"The Swift X is an Acer for entry-level gaming. With the entry-level graphics chip, our Acer not only beats every single current AMD and Intel iGPU, but also Intel's dGPU Iris Xe Max. However, despite being a GDDR6 version, the GTX does not match the expectations set by its own counterparts from our database. This may be a result of the single fan, which only produces moderate noise levels under load. The performance level of the thin and light 1.4 kg (~3.09 lbs) 14-inch laptop is impressive nonetheless."
"All in all, my day on the Vivobook had its ups and downs. It is a really pretty and well-built device, and it had all of the functionality I needed to get me through my browser-based workload. But the speakers weren’t my favorite, and the battery life was just too short."
