The Acer Swift Edge 16 is more expensive than the Lenovo Flex 5 16, but it has double the storage capacity. It boasts an AMD Ryzen 7 processor with AMD Radeon graphics, while the Lenovo has an Intel i7 processor with integrated Iris Xe graphics. The Acer also has a higher resolution OLED screen, which is brighter and has a higher contrast ratio, making it better for color-sensitive work. However, the Lenovo offers a touchscreen and longer battery life in typical usage, which, along with its lower weight, makes it more suited for on-the-go use and versatile tasks. Both laptops have 16 GB of RAM, but the Acer has a higher refresh rate, providing smoother visuals in fast-paced tasks. If performance in 3D rendering or engineering software is a priority, the Acer might be more suitable. Contrarily, if battery life, portability, and touchscreen are priorities, the Lenovo would be the better choice. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift Edge 16 has a better screen than the Lenovo Flex 5 16 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
For general use, the Acer Swift Edge's excellent screen leverages its high resolution and brightness, making it ideal for viewing documents and web browsing, while the Lenovo Flex 5 provides a good visual experience with slightly less emphasis on these factors. In engineering and design, the Acer's superior color gamut coverage ensures that colors are more accurately reproduced, which is crucial for precision work, whereas the Lenovo offers adequate color representation but isn't as precise. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short due to their lower refresh rates, meaning they're less suitable for the fast-paced visuals that benefit from smoother motion and quicker screen updates.

How the Acer Swift Edge 16 and the Lenovo Flex 5 16 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Swift Edge 16 is a solid super thin-and-light that pairs a large, gorgeous 16-inch display with portable design that rivals the weight of LG’s superlight Gram 16. Remarkably, Acer achieves this at a lower price point without sacrificing performance. Boring design and disappointing battery life hold the laptop back from stardom, but its rivals frequently suffer in these areas, too. That makes the Swift Edge 16 an alluring value pick."
"The Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 is a solidly equipped, 2-in-1 in the lower price segment. Performance is definitely sufficient for everyday tasks and in tests the battery proved itself to be very economical. That aside, there is a lot of standard fare on show and a search for real highlights ends in vain. The low color coverage and reflective display can be avoided by going for an optional 2.5K display but this also presumably results in poorer battery life. The cooling uses only one fan and leads to a raised temperature on one side of the device under load. Additionally, there is very loud fan noise, also under load or when gaming. On top of that, we also occasionally noticed electronic noises."
