Considering your needs will help you choose between the Acer Swift 3 and the XPG Xenia 14. The Acer Swift 3 offers a good balance between performance and price, making it well-suited for general use, while its battery life is also commendable. On the other hand, the XPG Xenia 14, although slightly pricier, provides higher portability due to its lighter weight. It has a higher resolution display with better color coverage, which may be preferable for engineering tasks and content creation. If battery life and budget are your primary concerns, the Acer may be the better option, but if you prioritize screen quality and portability, the XPG Xenia 14 could serve your needs better. Both laptops have similar storage, RAM, and integrated graphics, so for tasks not heavily reliant on graphics power or screen real estate, either could be a competent choice. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift 3 has a better screen than the XPG Xenia 14 for software development, and content creation.
When considering general use, the Acer Swift 3 and XPG Xenia 14 both offer satisfactory screen resolution, brightness, and panel types, making them comfortable for everyday activities like browsing and office work. For engineering and design tasks that demand wide color gamuts, both laptops provide adequate color accuracy, covering a decent spectrum of DCI-P3 and Adobe RGB. However, for gaming and 3D graphics, both models fall short due to lower refresh rates, which limits the smoothness and responsiveness crucial to these applications, despite having decent resolution and panel types.

The Acer Swift 3 and XPG Xenia 14 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Acer Swift 3 and the XPG Xenia 14 are both equipped with integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics chips, which are suitable for light gaming and 3D work but may struggle with more demanding tasks and games that require a dedicated GPU for optimal performance; both also have a standard screen refresh rate, which is fine for casual gaming but not ideal for high-frame-rate competitive gaming where a higher refresh rate could give a smoother visual experience. The Acer's larger battery suggests slightly longer playtime, while the XPG's slightly higher resolution may offer marginally better screen detail for visual tasks.

How the Acer Swift 3 and the XPG Xenia 14 compare to other laptops
"With the Swift 3, Acer delivers a 14-inch laptop with a sleek, slim metal chassis. The latter is of high quality and sturdy enough for everyday use, which is a real plus point among the 700-Euro (~$798) models. A new feature is Thunderbolt 4 in the Type-C format for peripherals or even displays (DisplayPort via Type-C). Unfortunately, a card reader is still missing, and the RAM is completely onboard, so there are no upgrade options here. Acer's 14-incher is affordable, yet it does everything most would want from a truly mobile laptop: Long battery life, a great display, quality, sufficient ports, light weight, and low noise and heat emissions."
"The Xenia 14 is a top 14-inch laptop under 1 kg. ADATA isn't exactly known for its laptops and so we weren't expecting much from its first 14-inch Ultrabook. With that said, we're pleasantly surprised by how well the Xenia 14 looks and performs. Not only is it incredibly light, but it has a color accurate 16:10 display, high CPU and GPU performance, easy RAM and SSD serviceability, plenty of port options including Thunderbolt 4, and long battery life. It packs a lot of punch and features considering the size and weight to be better than even the LG Gram series."
