The Acer Swift 3 has a better screen than the Lenovo V15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Acer Swift 3 offers a good screen experience for general use because it has a high resolution and adequate brightness, making documents, websites, and videos sharp and clear. For engineering and design, while it still provides sufficient resolution and range of colors, it may not fully satisfy professionals who need wider color coverage. However, its lower refresh rate makes fast-moving images in games and 3D applications less smooth compared to specialized gaming laptops, affecting the overall gaming and 3D experience.

The Acer Swift 3 and Lenovo V15 are both good for general use.
The Acer Swift 3 offers a balance between performance and portability with a decent CPU, sufficient RAM, and a high-quality touchscreen IPS display, making it a solid choice for general use; it is also relatively lightweight and has long battery life for mobility. On the other hand, the Lenovo V15, with a larger screen and greater storage, also supports general use, but it has a lower-quality TN panel and heavier build, which may impact portability and viewing experience, albeit with ample raw performance equipped with a capable AMD CPU and integrated graphics.

How the Acer Swift 3 and the Lenovo V15 compare to other laptops
"With the Swift 3, Acer delivers a 14-inch laptop with a sleek, slim metal chassis. The latter is of high quality and sturdy enough for everyday use, which is a real plus point among the 700-Euro (~$798) models. A new feature is Thunderbolt 4 in the Type-C format for peripherals or even displays (DisplayPort via Type-C). Unfortunately, a card reader is still missing, and the RAM is completely onboard, so there are no upgrade options here. Acer's 14-incher is affordable, yet it does everything most would want from a truly mobile laptop: Long battery life, a great display, quality, sufficient ports, light weight, and low noise and heat emissions."
"The strengths of the Lenovo V15 G2 AMD lie in its expandability of the RAM and allowing you to use two SSDs, in its performance that goes beyond everyday applications thanks to AMD's hexa-core CPU and Vega-7 iGPU, in its good keyboard, and its relatively robust case. In addition, the battery life of the office laptop is also acceptable, and the device stays cool and relatively quiet."
