The Acer Swift 3 is a more budget-friendly option compared to the Lenovo Flex 5 14, though the Lenovo has double the storage capacity. The Acer offers slightly better battery life, whereas the Lenovo has a marginally higher resolution and an aspect ratio more suited to productivity. The Acer is also lighter, making it more portable, but the Lenovo provides a touchscreen with a different aspect ratio that may be preferred for certain uses. Both laptops have adequate performance for general use, but for more intensive 3D, machine learning, or engineering tasks, neither stands out as significantly better. If you're looking for a laptop mainly for general use with decent performance and good portability at a lower cost, the Acer would be a suitable choice. On the other hand, if you're willing to spend more for a touchscreen and extra storage, consider the Lenovo. Both have backlit keyboards and similar build qualities, but they're not designed for intensive gaming. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift 3 has a better screen than the Lenovo Flex 5 14 for general use, and engineering and design.
If you prioritize screen sharpness and clarity for everyday tasks like browsing and watching videos, the Acer Swift 3 might suit you better due to a higher resolution and brighter display. However, for engineering and design work that requires accurate color representation, the Swift 3 again offers an advantage because of its wider color gamut, providing more precise shades. Neither the Swift 3 nor the Lenovo Flex 5 14 is ideal for gaming or 3D applications because both lack high refresh rates, which are essential for fluid motion and fast-paced visuals.

The Acer Swift 3 and Lenovo Flex 5 14 are both only fair for gaming and AI.
The Acer Swift 3, with its Intel i5-1240P Iris Xe graphics, and the Lenovo Flex 5 14, powered by AMD Ryzen 7 7730U Vega 8 graphics, are both fair for gaming and 3D due to their integrated GPUs which are capable but not as powerful as dedicated gaming GPUs, and standard 60Hz refresh rate screens which provide a fair experience but not as fluid as higher refresh rate displays. While both have decent CPUs and good screen quality, they don't reach the levels necessary for more than casual gaming and basic 3D tasks.

How the Acer Swift 3 and the Lenovo Flex 5 14 compare to other laptops
"With the Swift 3, Acer delivers a 14-inch laptop with a sleek, slim metal chassis. The latter is of high quality and sturdy enough for everyday use, which is a real plus point among the 700-Euro (~$798) models. A new feature is Thunderbolt 4 in the Type-C format for peripherals or even displays (DisplayPort via Type-C). Unfortunately, a card reader is still missing, and the RAM is completely onboard, so there are no upgrade options here. Acer's 14-incher is affordable, yet it does everything most would want from a truly mobile laptop: Long battery life, a great display, quality, sufficient ports, light weight, and low noise and heat emissions."
"The highlight of the latest IdeaPad Flex 5 14 is clearly its AMD CPU. The octa-core Ryzen 7 5700U is insanely fast even when compared to the best Tiger Lake Ultrabooks in the market or even Core H CPUs in many gaming laptops. It's a lot of raw processing power for what is supposed to be a budget 14-inch convertible. If your daily workloads can benefit from extra multi-thread CPU performance, then look no further than the inexpensive AMD-powered Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 5 14. For regular on-the-road browsing or video streaming, however, a slimmer and lighter 10th gen Core Yoga, Spectre, or XPS would be a more balanced option."
