The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the Acer Swift 3 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
The Acer Swift 3 offers a pleasant screen experience for general tasks and engineering design work due to its decent resolution and brightness, but it may lack the color accuracy professionals need and falls short for gamers because of its lower refresh rate. The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a display that excels in general use, with high resolution and brightness enhancing visibility and clarity, and while color representation in design applications is notable, gamers may find the refresh rate insufficient for the smoothest experience. For those in engineering and graphics fields requiring precision in color, neither laptop may completely satisfy due to potential limitations in color gamuts.

How the Acer Swift 3 and the Gigabyte Aorus 17H compare to other laptops
"With the Swift 3, Acer delivers a 14-inch laptop with a sleek, slim metal chassis. The latter is of high quality and sturdy enough for everyday use, which is a real plus point among the 700-Euro (~$798) models. A new feature is Thunderbolt 4 in the Type-C format for peripherals or even displays (DisplayPort via Type-C). Unfortunately, a card reader is still missing, and the RAM is completely onboard, so there are no upgrade options here. Acer's 14-incher is affordable, yet it does everything most would want from a truly mobile laptop: Long battery life, a great display, quality, sufficient ports, light weight, and low noise and heat emissions."
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
