The Acer Swift 3 is more suitable if you require longer battery life and a lighter laptop for portability, as well as better performance for general use and multitasking, thanks to its greater RAM. It also offers a higher quality keyboard and more USB-C ports for modern peripherals. However, if screen size is important to you, the Dell Inspiron 15 has a larger display, which can be beneficial for productivity and entertainment, but this comes at the cost of reduced portability due to its greater weight and lower battery life. Neither laptop is optimal for intensive gaming, but both can handle general computer tasks well. If a backlit keyboard and a built-in number pad are important features for you, the Dell Inspiron has these, while the Acer Swift does not have a number pad. Give Feedback

How the Acer Swift 3 and the Dell Inspiron 15 3525 compare to other laptops
"With the Swift 3, Acer delivers a 14-inch laptop with a sleek, slim metal chassis. The latter is of high quality and sturdy enough for everyday use, which is a real plus point among the 700-Euro (~$798) models. A new feature is Thunderbolt 4 in the Type-C format for peripherals or even displays (DisplayPort via Type-C). Unfortunately, a card reader is still missing, and the RAM is completely onboard, so there are no upgrade options here. Acer's 14-incher is affordable, yet it does everything most would want from a truly mobile laptop: Long battery life, a great display, quality, sufficient ports, light weight, and low noise and heat emissions."
"Dell's Inspiron 15 (3525) is a peppy-enough and affordable-enough home or remote work machine, but it's not very ambitious; it does little to go beyond the basics. More the concern: It’s readily overshadowed by a number of machines that outperform and outclass it. Even if the Inspiron can get the job done today, its competition has the mettle to keep doing the job tomorrow in a way the Inspiron simply can’t promise. Many of its slightly higher-end rivals have to be on sale (and frequently are) to match it on price, but the Inspiron 15 (3525) is outclassed even by some similarly priced options, making it a difficult recommendation."
