Choosing between the Acer Swift 14 and the Razer Book 13 depends on your priorities. If a larger, high-resolution display is important, you might prefer the Acer Swift 14's slightly bigger screen with a higher resolution. For those who prioritize portability and weight, the Razer Book 13 is lighter and more compact, making it easier to carry around. However, the tradeoff is that its screen is smaller and lower resolution compared to the Acer. Performance-wise, the Acer has a more recent and slightly more powerful processor, which could be beneficial for more demanding tasks, while the Razer Book might offer slightly better battery efficiency due to its older and less power-consuming processor. Both have the same amount of memory and similar build quality, but different aesthetic choices, with the Acer adopting a more standard look and the Razer featuring an RGB keyboard. Finally, you should consider the operating systems; the Acer comes with Windows 11 Home, while the Razer includes Windows 10 Home, which could matter if you have a preference for the latest OS. Rtings

Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Acer Swift 14 is good for school use. Its compact design makes it easy to carry around, and its battery lasts easily through a typical school day. You can configure the laptop with an FHD+ or QHD+ display; both look sharp and get bright enough to combat glare. The keyboard feels tactile but can be a little tiring to type on over an extended period, and while the touchpad is small, it's responsive to all movements and gestures. Its Intel 13th Gen. CPU can handle nearly every type of workload; however, its integrated graphics perform poorly, so it isn't ideal for students in technical fields like 3D graphics."

NotebookCheck

Allen Ngo | December 2020
"The Razer Book is like an XPS 13, but faster. The Book 13 combines the design philosophy and performance of a Blade Stealth with the 16:10 display of a Dell XPS 13 for an impressive piece of hardware. Office users who want something more stylish than the typical Dell, HP or Lenovo will certainly find themselves drawn to this Razer subnotebook. If your priorities are to have the best-looking and fastest 13-inch laptop in the office over auxiliary features, however, then the Book 13 proudly fulfills that niche."
