The Acer Swift 14 is generally a bit more expensive and offers a lighter build and higher portability, making it easier to move around with. Its higher screen resolution and battery life may provide you with sharper images and longer usage away from a power source, though its gaming and engineering capabilities lag behind the Dell. On the other hand, the Dell XPS 15 is slightly less expensive, features a more powerful dedicated graphics chip suited for 3D tasks, has better heat management, and its larger screen size may be beneficial for detailed work despite its heavier weight that reduces portability. Choose the Acer if regular travel and battery life are crucial for you, and opt for the Dell if you need enhanced graphics performance for gaming or creative software. Give Feedback

The Acer Swift 14 has a better screen than the Dell XPS 15 for engineering and design.
If you mainly use your laptop for browsing, office work, or streaming, the Acer Swift 14 and Dell XPS 15 both offer pleasing visuals with enough clarity and brightness to satisfy. However, for engineering and design tasks demanding precise color representation, the Acer Swift 14 excels with a broader color gamut, which ensures more accurate color reproduction. For gaming and 3D applications, though, neither laptop's screen refresh rate is designed to deliver the smooth motion graphics aficionados prefer, but the resolution and panel technology still provide an adequate viewing experience for casual play.

How the Acer Swift 14 and the Dell XPS 15 compare to other laptops
Olivier Martin, Ryan Lim, John Peroramas | April 2023
"The Acer Swift 14 is good for school use. Its compact design makes it easy to carry around, and its battery lasts easily through a typical school day. You can configure the laptop with an FHD+ or QHD+ display; both look sharp and get bright enough to combat glare. The keyboard feels tactile but can be a little tiring to type on over an extended period, and while the touchpad is small, it's responsive to all movements and gestures. Its Intel 13th Gen. CPU can handle nearly every type of workload; however, its integrated graphics perform poorly, so it isn't ideal for students in technical fields like 3D graphics."
"The 2023 Dell XPS 15 is more or less exactly what you'd expect from the company flagship. Its fresh components deliver measurably superior power and longevity, while the machine's premium build and design remain intact. It may not be overly exciting, but XPS loyalists and upgraders should be more than happy."
