The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 offers a lower price and could be a better choice if you're looking to save money. On the other hand, the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 is significantly more expensive but provides a higher resolution touchscreen that can detach to function as a tablet. The Helios Neo 16 is built with less powerful components, making it better suited for general use and less demanding gaming. Meanwhile, the ROG Flow Z13 includes more powerful hardware, which could be beneficial for more intensive tasks like engineering, 3D modeling, or heavy multitasking. However, it's also less portable due to its weight and size. The decision between the two should be based on your priorities: whether you prefer a more affordable and potentially more portable device, or a high-performance, versatile laptop-tablet hybrid with a superior display, despite the higher cost and greater weight. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 has a better screen than the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 offers satisfactory visuals for everyday tasks and sufficient detail for engineering work due to its decent resolution and brightness, but its lower refresh rate isn't optimal for the fast-paced visuals required in gaming and 3D applications. The ASUS ROG Flow Z13 provides crisp, vibrant images suitable for both daily use and professional design work because of its high-resolution display and broad color coverage; however, like the Acer, its refresh rate falls short for the smooth rendering desired in gaming and 3D scenarios. For users prioritizing work in engineering and general productivity, both laptops are suitable choices, but avid gamers and 3D artists may find the screen qualities limiting for their specific needs.

How the Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 and the ASUS ROG Flow Z13 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Predator Helios Neo 16 sacrifices portability and a truly budget price in the name of additional power. While remaining relatively budget-friendly, this gaming laptop packs serious processing chops, and Acer optimizes its internals to deliver respectable 1080p (or 1200p) gameplay from an RTX 4050. Its keyboard and chassis design won't win it any awards, but its display is a cut above for the price."
"The Asus ROG Flow Z13 is a gaming tablet with powerful Alder Lake i9 CPU. The ROG Flow Z13 impresses with its good cooling. After our review, the impression is predominantly positive. Besides a very fast Alder Lake CPU and stable gaming performance, especially the cooling system is surprisingly effective and quiet. You can use the integrated speakers without any issues while gaming. The 1200p display in the 16:10 format also impresses with good color reproduction and high brightness. Since the battery runtimes aren't particularly long as it is, we wouldn't recommend the optional 4K panel."
