The Acer Predator Helios 16 is more expensive but provides more storage, better performance for intensive tasks with a higher-end processor and graphics card, a larger battery, and a higher resolution and refresh rate display than the MSI Cyborg 15; it's also heavier, which may affect portability. Conversely, the MSI Cyborg 15 is more affordable, lighter, making it more portable, and has a longer battery life, but it offers less storage and is suited for less demanding tasks due to its lower-spec processor and graphics card. "The Predator Helios 16 stacks up well against its closest competition in benchmark comparisons. The Acer Predator Helios 16 isn't perfect. It's bulky, its lid feels flimsy and some of its keys are just too damned small – but none of its problems are fatal, and it shines where it counts. The powerful graphics and processor combo are spot on for this price point, the fans stop it getting hot under pressure, and the display is as good as you’ll find under $2,500. It's simply one of the best laptops to play demanding games on."
"The focus of the MSI Cyborg 15 lies on a compromise of performance, mobility, and power consumption. Due to the reduced performance settings, the CPU and GPU perform below their capabilities. Nonetheless, their computing power is still sufficient for FHD gaming at high to maximum settings even then. The power consumption, which is low for a gaming laptop, can be translated into a good battery life. Realistic values of 7 to 8 h are still possible, despite the relatively small battery capacity of 53.5 Wh. Unfortunately the USB-C port doesn't offer any support for Power Delivery, which would be a sensible feature in the case of the Cyborg."
