If the Acer Predator Helios 16 is significantly more expensive than the Lenovo Legion 5 15", consider that the higher cost usually brings more powerful hardware suited for demanding tasks like gaming, 3D rendering, or heavy multitasking. Its larger screen size could also offer a better visual experience but may reduce portability. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 5 15" may offer a more balanced approach with decent performance for everyday use and light to medium gaming, while being easier to carry around. If budget and portability are primary concerns and your tasks aren't overly demanding, the Lenovo could be a more cost-effective option. However, if you require top-notch performance and a larger display for intensive tasks, and you don't mind the additional expense and reduced portability, the Acer Predator Helios 16 may be the better choice. The Acer Predator Helios 16 has a better screen than the Lenovo Legion 5 15" for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, software development, and content creation.
The Acer Predator's display offers vibrant colors and high resolution that make it excellent for everyday tasks, plus it caters to engineering and design professionals with its wide color gamut, ensuring accurate color representation. However, its lower refresh rate limits its appeal for gaming and 3D applications, which rely on smooth, rapid image changes. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion's screen, while still offering crisp images and satisfactory color accuracy for daily use and technical work, falls short in the gaming realm due to the similar limitation of a lower refresh rate.

How the Acer Predator Helios 16 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The Predator Helios 16 stacks up well against its closest competition in benchmark comparisons. The Acer Predator Helios 16 isn't perfect. It's bulky, its lid feels flimsy and some of its keys are just too damned small – but none of its problems are fatal, and it shines where it counts. The powerful graphics and processor combo are spot on for this price point, the fans stop it getting hot under pressure, and the display is as good as you’ll find under $2,500. It's simply one of the best laptops to play demanding games on."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
