The Acer Nitro 5 15, being less expensive, offers good value for general use and gaming, with features like hardware ray tracing and a solid battery life for its price range. However, it’s heavier and bulkier than the Razer Blade 15, which is more portable and has a higher-resolution screen, better overall build quality, and superior performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks due its higher-end processor and graphics. If budget is a concern and you seek a balance between cost and functionality, the Acer might suit you. If you prioritize top performance, a sleek build, and a better screen and can afford a higher price, the Razer Blade 15 would be the better choice. Give Feedback

The Razer Blade 15 is very good for engineering and design, while the Acer Nitro 5 15 is good.
The Acer Nitro 5 15, with an Intel i5 processor and Nvidia RTX 4050 GPU, offers solid performance for engineering and design but falls short compared to the Razer Blade 15, which boasts a more powerful Intel i7 processor and Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti GPU, alongside better screen quality for more detailed visuals. While both laptops have the same amount of RAM, the Razer's superior CPU and GPU, along with its higher screen resolution and refresh rates, make it a more capable machine for demanding engineering tasks, though it may be less portable and produce more operating noise.

The Razer Blade 15 has a better screen than the Acer Nitro 5 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
If you mostly use your laptop for everyday tasks like browsing the web or watching movies, you'll appreciate the Acer Nitro 5 15's good resolution and brightness, but if color accuracy matters for tasks like photo editing or graphic design, the Razer Blade 15's superior color gamut will serve you better. However, for gaming or 3D modeling where fast-moving visuals are common, neither of these laptops may satisfy due to their lower refresh rates, though they'll still handle less intensive uses just fine. Remember, while the Razer Blade 15 offers a better visual experience for professional creative work, it's usually more expensive than the Acer Nitro 5 15, which still provides an adequate display for general use.

How the Acer Nitro 5 15 and the Razer Blade 15 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Nitro 5 is a fast QHD gaming notebook. The Nitro 5 is a well-balanced gaming laptop for just under US$ 2400. A Core i7-12700H CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU enable QHD gaming at high to maximum settings, accompanied by fast PCIe-4-SSD (1 TB) and 16 GB of RAM. Acer delivers a solid QHD gaming notebook with the Nitro 5 AN515-58. However, the laptop is not completely free of shortcomings. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The laptop heats up noticeably under load, but not excessively. Noise development is on the usual class level. Once again, however, Acer needs to improve the fan control."
"The 2022 Blade 15 offers roughly 15 to 25 percent faster graphics performance and 20 percent faster CPU performance over last year's Core i7-11800H and RTX 3080 model. Thankfully, the system doesn't need to run noticeably louder or warmer to achieve faster results, but both power consumption and battery life take a hit. The higher consumption in particular appears to be a trend amongst many 12th gen Core laptops including the Schenker Uniwill Technology GM7AG8P or MSI Vector GP66 when compared to their previous generation counterparts. We're also glad to not see below-average CPU performance which was the case for the 10th gen Core i7-10875H model."
