If portability and a higher resolution touchscreen are important to you, along with a much larger storage capacity and significantly more RAM for multitasking and demanding tasks, you should consider the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2, which also offers a more powerful processor and GPU suitable for intensive gaming, 3D rendering, and machine learning. However, if budget is a concern and you're looking for something with solid performance at a lower price, the Acer Nitro 5 with ample storage, a decent amount of RAM, and a dedicated GPU can handle general use and gaming, with the bonus of a slightly larger screen and a keyboard with a number pad. Keep in mind that the Nitro 5 is heavier and does not have a touchscreen or as high-quality display as the Surface. The Surface Laptop Studio 2 has longer battery life as well, which might be beneficial if you're on the go. Give Feedback

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 has a better screen than the Acer Nitro 5 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, content creation, and software development.
The Acer Nitro 5 15, with its adequate resolution and brightness, offers a satisfactory visual experience for everyday tasks, but its limited color range and slower refresh rate may not deliver the vibrancy and smoothness required for engineering applications or the fluid graphics demanded by high-end gaming. The Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2, featuring a high-resolution and bright display, excels in presenting sharp and vibrant images for both general and professional engineering use, but, like the Acer, it falls short in refresh rate, which is crucial for the smooth rendering of fast-paced 3D scenes. Consequently, while both are suitable for day-to-day activities and creative work, gamers and 3D designers looking for optimal performance might find the lack of high refresh rates a drawback.

How the Acer Nitro 5 15 and the Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Nitro 5 is a fast QHD gaming notebook. The Nitro 5 is a well-balanced gaming laptop for just under US$ 2400. A Core i7-12700H CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU enable QHD gaming at high to maximum settings, accompanied by fast PCIe-4-SSD (1 TB) and 16 GB of RAM. Acer delivers a solid QHD gaming notebook with the Nitro 5 AN515-58. However, the laptop is not completely free of shortcomings. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The laptop heats up noticeably under load, but not excessively. Noise development is on the usual class level. Once again, however, Acer needs to improve the fan control."
"The new Surface Laptop Studio with its foldable display is supposed to replace the old Surface Book and the overall impression is good after our review. The build quality and the materials are top-notch, the performance utilization of the two components is solid and the device does not show any major flaws in terms of display or speakers, either. The folding mechanism leaves a sold impression as well, but it remains to be seen how it will hold up over the years. The so-called presentation mode is also not ideal since it covers the whole keyboard."
