The Acer Nitro 5 15 is a more budget-friendly option with an Intel i5 processor and Nvidia RTX 4050 graphics card, which should suffice for general use and lighter gaming. However, it is slightly heavier than the Lenovo Legion 5 15. On the other hand, the Lenovo Legion 5 15, while priced similarly, offers a more powerful AMD Ryzen 7 processor and Nvidia RTX 4060 graphics, better suited for intensive tasks like 3D, machine learning, and gaming. It also features a higher resolution display, but keep in mind, the higher performance may lead to a shorter battery life during heavy use. Choose Acer for savings and good general performance or Lenovo for superior power and a sharper display at the same price point, with a minimal trade-off in battery life and weight. Give Feedback

How the Acer Nitro 5 15 and the Lenovo Legion 5 15" compare to other laptops
"The Acer Nitro 5 is a fast QHD gaming notebook. The Nitro 5 is a well-balanced gaming laptop for just under US$ 2400. A Core i7-12700H CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU enable QHD gaming at high to maximum settings, accompanied by fast PCIe-4-SSD (1 TB) and 16 GB of RAM. Acer delivers a solid QHD gaming notebook with the Nitro 5 AN515-58. However, the laptop is not completely free of shortcomings. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The laptop heats up noticeably under load, but not excessively. Noise development is on the usual class level. Once again, however, Acer needs to improve the fan control."
"The Lenovo Legion 5 15 is an affordable gaming laptop with a lot of power. The new AMD processor Ryzen 7 5800H offers plenty of performance and it is also very efficient. The combination with the fast 130W version of the GeForce RTX 3060 ensures high gaming performance. We also like the fast 165 Hz display with the 1080p resolution. The automatic graphics switching causes some problems with stutters, which are very annoying. If you do not need long battery runtimes, you should definitely deactivate the hybrid graphics mode in Lenovo's Vantage app. The Legion 5 15 is never silent."
