If you are looking for a more budget-friendly option that still provides decent performance for general use and gaming, the Acer Nitro 5 15 is a solid choice, though you may find its battery life and screen refresh rate less suitable for the most intensive tasks. On the other hand, if you prioritize top-tier performance for engineering applications, 3D rendering, and gaming — and don't mind spending more — the Gigabyte Aorus 17H is a better fit with its more powerful processor and GPU, along with a larger battery capacity. The Aorus 17H also has a larger and faster screen but is less portable due to its larger size and slightly heavier weight. Give Feedback

The Gigabyte Aorus 17H has a better screen than the Acer Nitro 5 15 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and software development.
For general use, the Acer Nitro 5 15's adequate resolution and brightness make it suitable, whereas the Gigabyte Aorus 17H's higher resolution and better brightness offer sharper and more vibrant visuals. In engineering and design tasks, although the Acer's color representation suffices, the Gigabyte's wider color gamuts provide professionals more precision and a broader spectrum for color-sensitive work. However, for gaming and 3D applications, both laptops fall short, as their lower refresh rates do not support the smooth visuals and rapid response times these applications typically demand.

How the Acer Nitro 5 15 and the Gigabyte Aorus 17H compare to other laptops
"The Acer Nitro 5 is a fast QHD gaming notebook. The Nitro 5 is a well-balanced gaming laptop for just under US$ 2400. A Core i7-12700H CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU enable QHD gaming at high to maximum settings, accompanied by fast PCIe-4-SSD (1 TB) and 16 GB of RAM. Acer delivers a solid QHD gaming notebook with the Nitro 5 AN515-58. However, the laptop is not completely free of shortcomings. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The laptop heats up noticeably under load, but not excessively. Noise development is on the usual class level. Once again, however, Acer needs to improve the fan control."
"Overall though, it’s *lots of swearing* fast, seriously. For work, rendering, gaming, it doesn’t matter, this is a true weapon of performance that’s going to run rings around most high-end desktop systems. If you absolutely have to game at ultra-high refresh rates on the go (but within thinking distance of a plug socket), this is the ticket. I can’t see such an extreme being that appealing to everyone, but if you take your gaming seriously, or even professionally, there’s nothing else out there that comes close that you can still fit in your backpack and travel with."
