The Acer Nitro 5 15 and Dell Inspiron 16 5625 are similarly priced with key differences in their designs and capabilities. The Acer Nitro 5 15, equipped with an Intel processor and Nvidia RTX GPU, is better suited for intensive gaming and engineering tasks given its higher performance potential in 3D rendering and machine learning. However, it's heavier and has a shorter battery life compared to the Dell Inspiron, which makes it less portable. On the other hand, the Dell Inspiron 16 5625, powered by an AMD Ryzen processor with integrated graphics, is lighter, has a longer battery life, and includes a touchscreen, making it a better option for general use and business-related tasks, especially when portability is a priority. Both laptops have the same RAM and storage capacity, but for those needing dedicated performance for gaming or engineering, the Acer might be the better choice, while the Dell offers a better balance for everyday use and mobility. The Acer Nitro 5 15 has a better screen than the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 for general use, gaming and AI, and engineering and design.
For general use, people prefer clear and bright displays, and the Acer Nitro 5 15 offers a more vibrant and crisp image. However, in engineering and design, color accuracy is crucial; both laptops provide only average performance here, lacking wide color gamuts needed for precise color work. When it comes to gaming and 3D, a high refresh rate is key for smooth visuals, and unfortunately, both the Acer Nitro 5 15 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 fall short, lacking the fast refresh rates gamers seek.

How the Acer Nitro 5 15 and the Dell Inspiron 16 5625 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Nitro 5 is a fast QHD gaming notebook. The Nitro 5 is a well-balanced gaming laptop for just under US$ 2400. A Core i7-12700H CPU and a GeForce RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU enable QHD gaming at high to maximum settings, accompanied by fast PCIe-4-SSD (1 TB) and 16 GB of RAM. Acer delivers a solid QHD gaming notebook with the Nitro 5 AN515-58. However, the laptop is not completely free of shortcomings. The CPU and GPU can work at consistently high clock rates. The laptop heats up noticeably under load, but not excessively. Noise development is on the usual class level. Once again, however, Acer needs to improve the fan control."
"I think there is fair value in the Inspiron 16 this year. Very little has changed with the laptop and my opinion hasn’t really changed either. In other words, I like it. Overall, I think the pros far outweigh the cons of this laptop and the price is certainly justifiable. I found this to be a great typer and I could potentially work all day on this machine, provided I don’t need a graphics card."
