The Acer Nitro 17 offers better performance for 3D rendering, machine learning, and engineering tasks due to its more powerful GPU, and it also has a larger screen which might be preferable for gaming or productivity. Additionally, it has a backlit keyboard with a number pad and higher storage capacity. However, it is less portable, heavier, and has a shorter battery life. The XPG Xenia 14 is more portable and offers longer battery life, a higher resolution display with better brightness and color accuracy, and a significant weight advantage for easier transport. Its performance is sufficient for general use but less suitable for intensive gaming or demanding engineering work. Consider the Acer Nitro 17 for performance-heavy tasks and gaming, and the XPG Xenia 14 for portability and general use. Give Feedback

The Acer Nitro 17 is good for engineering and design, while the XPG Xenia 14 is only fair.
The Acer Nitro 17 is well-suited for engineering and design due to its powerful AMD Ryzen processor, dedicated Nvidia RTX GPU, and large 17-inch screen, which improve performance and visual workspace, but it’s heavier and larger, making it less portable. On the other hand, the XPG Xenia 14, with its Intel processor and integrated graphics, offers good processing power and portability, with a smaller, higher-resolution screen, making it easier to carry around but not as powerful for demanding graphics tasks.

The Acer Nitro 17 has a better screen than the XPG Xenia 14 for general use, gaming and AI, engineering and design, and content creation.
In general use, both the Acer Nitro 17 and XPG Xenia 14 offer sharp, vibrant displays with ample brightness, providing clarity and comfort for everyday tasks like browsing and video streaming. For engineering and design, these laptops deliver a wide range of colors, crucial for precise color work, though they may not cover professional-grade color spaces entirely. However, for gaming and 3D applications where fluid motion is key, their lower refresh rates make them less suitable, as they won't provide as smooth an experience as panels designed specifically for high-frame-rate gaming.

How the Acer Nitro 17 and the XPG Xenia 14 compare to other laptops
"The Acer Nitro 17 isn't an exceptional gaming laptop; it's kind of chunky even among 17.3-inch notebooks, with a lackluster keyboard, and it doesn't outperform comparably priced machines. But there's a lot to like about it, including a good array of ports, a screen that's sharp and bright for work and play alike, and battery life that soundly beats the competition. All this comes at an affordable price. If size and weight aren't big concerns, you'll find the Nitro 17 a dependable big-screen gaming rig. If you crave higher quality, consider a slight step down or up in screen size with the Lenovo Legion Slim 5 Gen 8 or Alienware m18 respectively."
"The Xenia 14 is a top 14-inch laptop under 1 kg. ADATA isn't exactly known for its laptops and so we weren't expecting much from its first 14-inch Ultrabook. With that said, we're pleasantly surprised by how well the Xenia 14 looks and performs. Not only is it incredibly light, but it has a color accurate 16:10 display, high CPU and GPU performance, easy RAM and SSD serviceability, plenty of port options including Thunderbolt 4, and long battery life. It packs a lot of punch and features considering the size and weight to be better than even the LG Gram series."
